More than Basketball (MTB) is a non-profit program whose mission is to promote a lifestyle that uses sports to underscore the importance of maturing and personal growth into adulthood. Their goal is to instill the idea of academics first while enforcing a strict but positive code of conduct to serve as their creed.
MTB needed a logo that as their name suggests, needed to work for more than just the basketball court. It needed to also portray the importance academics has in their program. The logo needed to be just as home in a basketball jersey as it is in a letterhead or book cover.
